10 years as a remote UX Design consultant
Why I’m applying to the Staff Product Designer position at HubSpot
As a lifelong musician that holds a BA in Music and an experienced UX designer, it would be an absolute thrill to combine my love for music and UX design into my daily work.
I’m a seasoned UX Designer
Created and contributed to existing design systems in Figma
Well-organized design systems that make finding attributes, components, and templates across devices a cinch.
Skilled at keeping organized files and naming pages, sections, and frames.
Created interaction guidelines to make it clear how to use specific colors, assets, and components to ensure consistency across the product.
Have had experience working with design tokens in an existing design system.
Iterated on design systems to update branding and components that needed a refresh.
Participated in dozens of research projects throughout my tenure at Slide UX
Recruited through online platforms, such as userinterviews.com, and through recruitment services for in-person interviews.
Set-up screeners to ensure the appropriate participants were interviewed.
Moderated in-person and remote generative and usability interviews. Created surveys for large-scale feedback. Participated in card sort.
Conducted analysis using transcriptions, video recordings, rainbow spreadsheet, AI, and team debriefs after each call.
Presented findings through slides that had a recap of the goals, interviewee details, executive summary, main takeaways with supportive participant quotes and soundbites, easy to heavy lift change indicators, and an appendix with links to all assets.
Created priority log based on user research findings to help the team tackle.
